The PACE Group of Thomasville 2015 Farm to Table Dinner Event generates community and excitement for Historic Downtown project

On July 26, 2015, The PACE Group of Thomasville hosted their 3rd Annual Farm to Table & Dinner Auction to celebrate local farms and community. This year’s event brought additional excitement because of the recent property donations (6 Main Street and 9 Salem Street) from Bob Callicutt of Callicutt Realty, the completion of two chairs from the Chair City Art campaign and the launching of PACE’s new website. 

This years Farm to Table event experienced record attendance and the PACE Group raised a net of $8,774.78. The PACE Group made considerable effort to feature local vendors. Catering was provided by Tricia’s Catering and many of the produce served were supplied by the vendors from Thomasville Farmers Market: Sink Family Farm, Silver Valley Farmers, Conrad Farm, Peachtree Garden, Cridlebaugh Farm, and Miller Farm. Beautiful table bouquets were supplied by Flower House Farm.

PACE’s fundraising efforts are an on-going endeavor. Please join yoga instructor Jacqueline Brooke every Saturday at 9:30 am for Yoga in the Park, free. Donations accepted. Proceeds will go towards PACE’s ongoing community building efforts.
