OUR ACTION COMMITTEES
Our Action Committees were established to reflect Main Street America’s Four Points Approach of successful revitalization: Design, Economic Vitality, Promotions, and Organization. For Downtown Thomasville, we’ve implemented the first three as Action Committees, while our board, PACE, oversees the Organization component. By focusing on building a strong foundation, PACE ensures sustainable revitalization through cultivating partnerships, encouraging community involvement, and securing resources for the district.
DESIGN COMMITTEE
Chair: Jill Simpson
The Design Committee supports a community’s transformation by enhancing the physical and visual assets that set the commercial district apart.

The Economic Vitality Committee focuses on capital, incentives, and other economic and financial tools to assist new and existing businesses, catalyze property development, and create a supportive environment for entrepreneurs and innovators that drive local economies.
